Up front, I have to state that I am biased. And please don’t consider this a detailed “review”. Nonetheless, I’ve owned my Canon 30D digital SLR camera long enough now that I wanted to share some (nearly all positive) observations.

I always bring along my Canon Powershot a70 digital camera whenever my daughter and I go out and have fun. We both are nature lovers, so we often take a relaxing walk in our bare feet in the park or the woods near our house. Oh yeah I know some of you’re gonna say it’s gross. Well, it’s not! OK maybe it is kinda, but who cares, it’s fun!

The root of this particular auction with the negative feedback is very simple. I bid on a waterproof camera case for my Canon digital camera. I chose this particular auction because it was advertised as being new, and it included the case, a carrying strap, silicon grease and anti-fogging liquid.

ive taken all my photos on my little Cannon Powershot SD400. I never realized it but I’ve had the “auto-rotate” feature on for almost two years now. How could I not know you ask? Well, turns out Windows and every photo or graphics editing software I own couldn’t care less what the EXIF data in my photos says. It simply displays the jpg in its raw form: wide top:short side ratio. I recently aquired and am in the middle of a very serious attemp to finally move from Jasc Paint Shop Pro to PSCS2 as my primary graphics editing program. What I didn’t know is that PSCS2 does honor EXIF orientation settings and so it displays all my vertical images in the “correct” orientation. That is, the orientation any average joe would likely want to see his image in. Note, this is NOT the orientation the raw jpg data is in.

Since Christmas I have been experimenting with my new Canon Digital camera, I have uploded my first attempts to Devianart. I then began to study some works of other budding photographers from amateurs to professionals.

From Amy, Eric, and Sarah - This is awesome - the 3 of them pitched in together as a Christmas/wedding gift and got us the new digital camera we’ve been wanting!! The Canon Elph 550. Thanks guys! That was a VERY good gift idea! It’s nice to have a new model that functions exactly the way it’s supposed to and is probably less than 1/2 the size of the other.

I love my Kodak Z760, and with all the lenses I have to upgrade it - I get quality work out of it! I can get up to about 8-10MP work out of it! But it is time to seriously think about upgrading, and I am looking at the Canon XTi.

I’d have to pick Holly McCaig. She is one awesome designer and photographer and if there is one person out there who is busting their hump to work for something they truly want, it is her! She wants a certain Canon digital camera that seems to evade me at the moment, but I know it is a MAJOR upgrade from the one she has. She has been truly trying to save up for it, but her dog recently got sick and she has had to make some big-priced purchases to ensure her photography end of business gets off the ground.

With its ‘800’ numerals, you’d expect the Canon Digital IXUS 800 IS to join the current vogue for 8 megapixel models, but no, Canon has played safe with six – since it’s arguable whether images from current higher resolution compacts make use of their full complement.
