Another CES In The Books
Trying to keep upYou can find a great selection of the latest camcorders and accessories at the Blog Carnival Store. It’s getting easier for “just folks” to create high quality audio and video. CES saw scores of companies presenting their small form-factor HD camcorders, podcast kits, solid-state camcorders, and digital cameras. The result is a rising corps of people who are learning audio and video production, just as desktop publishing tools in the 1980s brought out an army of paginators and publication designers. As was the case with desktop publishing, 90% of the audio and video produced will be crap, but with so much to sample, we’re in for a great world of creativity and citizen journalism.

I want to see as much new talent that there is available out there. I love that you don't have to go through getting produced by large corporations to get viewed by millions, if you have something worth watching. I say go for it.

I can just see the amount of raw talent in viewing the various videos from amateurs. I love it. There really is a venue for you via the web to display your story, if you want to make small films. You never know who will see it, and make use of your talent. I really enjoy the freedom of the internet to show off what you can do.
