New Canon Digital Camera

camera canon xt test shot Time to upgrade the Kodak Z760 to a Canon XTi?
I love my Kodak Z760, and with all the lenses I have to upgrade it - I get quality work out of it! I can get up to about 8-10MP work out of it! But it is time to seriously think about upgrading, and I am looking at the Canon XTi.

Brits: Citizens, Subjects Or Serfs?

camera surveillance camera Are spy cameras taking up too much police time?

I'm not entirely convinced by the comment about the resistance of the American public to intrusive spy-machines. But certainly the Brits have not only allowed their government to take over an increasing control of their personal habits (see below) and daily lives, but they're lining up to buy technology to spy on each other.

Helping A Photographer

camera canon digital camera photographer A Canon digital camera is a great present for a budding photographer ... any time of the year.

I’d have to pick Holly McCaig. She is one awesome designer and photographer and if there is one person out there who is busting their hump to work for something they truly want, it is her! She wants a certain Canon digital camera that seems to evade me at the moment, but I know it is a MAJOR upgrade from the one she has. She has been truly trying to save up for it, but her dog recently got sick and she has had to make some big-priced purchases to ensure her photography end of business gets off the ground.

Camera Or Phone?

sony ericsson k800i cyber-shot We're not sure whether the Sony Ericsson K800i Cyber-shot is a camera or a phone.

Sony-Ericsson’s familiar candybar design is augmented by a pinhole camera above the screen for video calling. Other cool features include an RSS reader for news headlines, one-touch “moblogging” for sharing snaps online and A2DP for pristine stereo via Bluetooth.

Depth Of Field Explained.

camera depth of field If you're wondering about camera basics, this will help with depth of field.

Next we move on to depth of field. This is actually a really simple term that just refers to how much of the image area is in focus. Pictures that have everything in focus are said to have a high depth of field, where pictures that have a small area in focus, and a lot of blurry back/foreground are said to have a narrow depth of field. The length (zoom) of the lens and the aperture are two of the biggest factors that determine the depth of field. With out getting too teched out, if you understand how a pinhole camera works, you will understand why a higher f stop (thus a smaller hole) creates a greater depth of field.

Flying Back Home For Christmas!

camera russion camera The exchange rate between Bulgaria and Michigan is measured in digital cameras and VW parts.

As requested by my mom, I am taking lots of goodies from here: DVD player, USB flash sticks by the dosen, digital cameras and all kids of other small gadgets. In exchange, I will be returning with lots of new shoes, clothes and hopefully lots of euro parts for my VeeDub

Hidden Camera At Nursing Home

spy camera connected to computer A spy camera can help you find out how your parent's nursing home is doing.

I’d love to be able to put a hidden camera built in recorder both in her room and in the lunch room. These new spy cameras are simple to set-up, and very hard to detect, since there is no wired *or* wireless connection to a vcr. In fact, the only way to detect them is with a tool made by the same company.

Review: Olympus Evolt E-330

camera evolt e-500 Nice review of the new Olympus Evolt camera here.

The camera that made one of the biggest splashes at this year’s PMA show in Orlando, Florida, was undoubtedly the Olympus Evolt E-330 ($1,100 List). And for good reason: It’s the first D-SLR to give consumers the option of framing their shots on the LCD, a feature that’s been available on lower-end digital cameras for years. That’s not the sole reason we awarded the Evolt E-330 an Editors’ Choice as a specialty D-SLR, but it certainly tipped the scales.
